Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong: Latest Models, Specifications and Price Comparison

As Mercedes-Benz's best-selling electric seven-seater SUV, in response to the manufacturer's reorganization of the model series, the previous generation EQB has been replaced by the GLB, which was familiar to everyone in the original gasoline era. The next-generation Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLB is longer and wider than the EQB and the previous GLB, measuring 4.73 meters in length and with a wheelbase of 2.89 meters. This provides ample legroom and headroom, and the third-row seats can accommodate passengers up to 1.7 meters tall. Furthermore, the rear seats offer multi-angle backrest adjustments and fore-and-aft movement, providing greater flexibility in use.

Two Hong Kong models | Maximum range of 631km

In terms of appearance, besides the common continuous light strip on electric vehicles, the most obvious change in the new all-electric GLB is the use of a "glowing starburst" grille, which hides about 94 LED star-shaped light points. These lights display welcome/farewell lighting effects when the engine starts and stops, while the taillights subtly incorporate the signature triangular star logo. Currently, pre-orders for the GLB 250+ and GLB 350 4MATIC are being accepted in Hong Kong, with deliveries expected in the second quarter of 2026. Both models are equipped with an 85 kWh lithium battery. The GLB 250+ features a rear-wheel-drive layout, outputting 200 kW of horsepower and 335 Nm of torque, with a WLTP range of approximately 631 km.

The GLB 350 4MATIC features a four-wheel drive system, delivering 260 kW of power and 515 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and has a WLTP range of approximately 614 km.

The EQC, which has always been responsible for Mercedes-Benz's mid-size luxury electric SUV, will be replaced by a new generation in 2026. Like the new GLB, it will return to its old model name — GLC. All-new all-electric GLC with a length of 4,716 mm and a wheelbase of 2,888 mm, the spacious interior befits its status. The giant illuminated grille at the front is one of the car's focal points, while the headlights and taillights conceal the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star emblem and feature LED headlights. The drag coefficient is 0.26 Cd.

The cabin features the manufacturer's largest-ever 39.1-inch seamless MBUX Hyperscreen, spanning the entire dashboard and composed of over 1,000 individual LED backlight modules. This includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch central control screen, and a 12.3-inch passenger screen, creating a truly impressive visual experience. The new vehicle will also feature the latest MB.OS operating system and generative AI, supporting the "Hey Mercedes" voice interaction, which can predict driving habits and adjust navigation and music functions. Notably, the panoramic sunroof features Sky Control, dividing the sunroof into nine zones with independently adjustable light transmission, balancing comfort and sun protection.

Finally, let's look at the battery and performance of the all-new all-electric GLC. The version currently available for pre-order is the GLC 400 4MATIC, equipped with a 94kWh battery, producing 360kW of power and 800 Nm of torque. A unique feature is its 2-speed transmission, which improves energy efficiency, giving it a range of approximately 713 km. Thanks to its support for an 800V charging architecture, a mere 10 minutes of charging adds approximately 310 km to the range.

MMA Platform | 800V Charging Architecture

For those interested in Mercedes-Benz's top-of-the-line all-electric SUV, there are two distinctly different options: the EQS and the G-Class.

The EQS belongs to Mercedes-Benz's top-of-the-line series, and the model is called Mercedes-Maybach EQS (EQS 680 4MATIC). The all-electric G-Class (G580 with EQ Technology), born under the trend, retains the classic tough square lines. The front of the car features dual LED matrix headlights with an illuminated triangular star grille, plus 724-inch AMG wheels to highlight its all-electric identity.

The all-electric G-Class continues its off-road DNA, featuring four motor-driven wheels, a double wishbone front suspension, and a De Dion rear axle. Entry-level SUV Mercedes-Benz GLA with a length of only 4.4 meters, it's easy to drive. It features the Progressive's signature triangular star grille and offers an optional AMG Line body kit. The rear features dual exhaust pipes on both sides, and a power tailgate is standard equipment.

Mercedes-Benz GLE positioned as a mid-size luxury SUV, it offers a luggage compartment space ranging from 630 to 2,055L, comes standard with air suspension, accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds, and has a fuel consumption of 10.3L/100km.

Mercedes-Benz GLS is a flagship large luxury SUV, measuring 5,226 mm in length and with a wheelbase of 3,135 mm. The luggage compartment offers 520-2,150L of space and features electric sliding rails, independent rear climate control, and a spacious cabin. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds and has a fuel consumption of 11.5 L/100km.

Both vehicles boast equally luxurious interiors, featuring dual 12.3-inch MBUX screens supporting the "Hello Mercedes" voice assistant, 64-color ambient lighting, a Burmester premium sound system, ventilated and heated Nappa leather seats, and a 360-degree surround view camera and active parking assist as standard across the range. The GLE leans towards a youthful and dynamic style, with its AMG Line sports package drawing attention; the GLS emphasizes a prestigious aura, with chrome trim and a panoramic sunroof, making it a top choice for business and a champion for multi-person families.

C-Class approximately 4.7 meters long with a wheelbase of approximately 2,840 mm, making it suitable for Hong Kong's road and parking environments. The interior features a 12.9-inch vertical center console screen, a fully digital instrument cluster, and the MBUX system; however, the rear seat and trunk space are relatively compact, making it suitable for a family of four.

E-Class a typical executive sedan, approximately 4.9 meters long with a wheelbase of nearly 2,940 mm. Rear legroom is significantly more spacious than in the C-Class, and the ride quality leans towards comfort and stability. The latest generation E-Class introduces a digital cockpit, with some models offering a Superscreen (connected to a passenger screen) and more advanced active safety and semi-autonomous driving assistance features. For families of five or cross-border users, the E-Class is more suitable than the C-Class in terms of space and comfort.

Mercedes-Benz traditional flagship luxury RV S-Class. With a length exceeding 5.1 meters and a wheelbase approaching 3.1 meters, the new S-Class is significantly more upscale than the C and E-Class models in terms of exterior presence, rear seat space, and material quality. Equipped with the MBUX system, independent rear entertainment screens, a Burmester 4D sound system, active air suspension, and numerous active safety and driver assistance features, it is the preferred choice for CEOs, chauffeured drivers, and high-end business receptions.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE series can be said to originate from the C-Class sedan from the same manufacturer, but it has a stronger sporty feel, mainly because the CLE is only offered as a two-door model, which is further divided into a hardtop and rear-mounted version. CLE  coupe and CLE Cabriolet both models are roughly the same in performance, equipped with a two-liter turbocharged 48V hybrid engine, providing a total of 167 kW of horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.

Due to the convertible component, the CLE 200 Cabriolet's luggage space is only 295L, significantly less than the Coupé's 420L. Furthermore, its 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 7.9 seconds, 0.5 seconds longer than the Coupé version, and its top speed is 236 km/h (the Coupé version is 240 km/h). Although the Cabriolet differs slightly in performance and practicality, it's believed that buyers interested in the CLE series are primarily focused on its appearance, and it still enjoys a considerable following.
