The new platform allows citizens to access Ticket Details and add new electronic payment methods. Kwiksure will share with you the features and usage of the etraffic ticket platform and how to pay.

What is the etraffic ticket platform?

As the Police Force will gradually switch from paper tickets to electronic tickets, an etraffic traffic ticket platform is set up, and a mobile application and website are provided to facilitate car owners to pay the relevant traffic fixed fines. In addition, the etraffic ticket platform also allows car owners to view past ticket records, vehicle information, verify tickets and payment records, etc.

In the initial stage of the implementation of etraffic tickets, the police will send ‘paper + electronic’ tickets at the same time. If the car owner receives a paper ticket and a ticket SMS, it is recommended to first check the information on the ticket.

Enter the notice number and vehicle number on the homepage or "Verify/Pay Ticket" page of the etraffic Ticket Platform website or mobile app. However, please note that if you only want to pay the ticket fine, you do not need to log in.

  • Ticket Record— View tickets from up to the past six months, along with payment status, such as unpaid, paid, and overdue.

  • Payment Record— You can check past ticket payment records based on the notice number, vehicle number, payment method and payment date.

  • Message— When you receive a message about the ticket status, such as successful payment, etc.

  • Vehicle Management— View the details of all vehicles under the registered owner, including vehicle number and license plate expiry date.

3 ways to distinguish real etraffic ticket from fake ones

  1. You can enter the information in the e-ticket, including the notice number and vehicle number, on the website or mobile application on the etraffic ticket Platform, and then click Verify / Pay for verification.

  2. You can call 181 181 and follow the system instructions to enter the electronic ticket information to confirm the authenticity of the ticket.

  3. All SMS messages of etraffic tickets issued by the Police Force have the sender name #HKFP-eTT and no hyperlinks will be provided in the message. The domain name of the etraffic ticket website ends with ‘.gov.hk’.

Electronic traffic tickets will be retained on the Electronic Traffic Ticket Platform for 6 months, and the platform will only display tickets issued after June 15, 2025.
